Deck the blog!
I kept breakfast simple this morning as I had quite the upset stomach yesterday. I wasn’t able to keep much down most of the day so I didn’t want to overdo it my first day back to “real” eating.
Into the bowl went just four simple ingredients:
- 0% Plain Fage (I’ve FINALLY come around to plain Greek yogurt…I still like the flavored stuff but can now officially say that I appreciate the plain as well)
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- Canned peaches
- BearNaked Peak Protein granola
- Chia Charger Buffalo Dirt (THE BEST stuff)
Coffee accompaniment:
So far it’s settling alright in my stomach – fingers crossed that it stays that way!
It’s chilly out there!! Stay warm!
I’m sure buffalo dirt is delicious, that name is just so unappealing! 😉
Haha I know. For some reason though I kind of like the name – NO idea why!
That looks so good! I love the name of that PB – I’m going to have to whip up some of that. 🙂
Definitely do – then share the recipe!! 🙂
Your breakfast bowl looks yummy! I think plain greek yogurt is okay as long as you are mixing it in with other things. Then at least it has some flavor 🙂
I totally agree – not sure I could eat it on it’s own quite yet. Baby steps 🙂
Hope your tummy feels better. Your Christmas decorations looks great!
Thank you!!
i’m still working on the plain greek yogurt. i have to supplement with a sprinkle of stevia and cinnamon to really make it taste good, but i am slowly reducing that to hopefully learn to enjoy the natural flavor soon 🙂
That’s exactly what I’m doing only with peanut butter, fruit and granola! A little at a time 🙂
The chia charger sounds so good! I love your mantle. Your stockings are so unique!
It definitely is so delicious! And thank you! Glad you like it 🙂
Love the snowmen! I still cannot like plain yogurt… 🙂
Thanks! They’re my favorite too 🙂 and I hear ya – it took me a while to get to this point!
I hope you feel better soon!!
Feel better! Ps, 5 ingredients?
Is it!? Haha, you’re probably right!
There’s something about snowmen that is just SO cute. I think it’s the pudgyness and just how happy they are to be pudgy 🙂 haha. I just love ’em!
I COMPLETELY agree!!
Plain Greek yogurt is my favorite! I love mixing it with a little cinnamon and Splena, some jam, or pumpkin 😀 I’ve grown to like the fruit kinds too, but I usually bring them in my lunch since they are portable and I buy big tubs of the pain kind!
That’s definitely what I’m going to do from now on too! Just buy a big old tub of the plain stuff! 🙂
Interesting nut butter! I lovelovelove plain yogurt. I am usually a chobani girl, but I think FAGE is just as good. Hope you feel better!
I know I’m usually the same – perfer plain Chobani but I actually really liked this Fage!
That’s funny- when we were little my mom used to give us canned peaches whenever we were sick with upset bellies.
I hope you are feeling better!
Oooh looks like the peaches were a good call then!
Gorgeous! I love all of your decorations! Sorry you were sick yesterday (you went hiking while sick? I’m so impressed!) – I hope you are feeling 100 times better today!
I definitely do feel 100x better thank goodness! And haha I definitely did NOT hike while sick! That was from over the weekend 🙂 I’m glad you like the decorations!
Plain yogurt is an acquired taste for sure, but I’m glad I got the hang of it.
It totally is – and now I can finally say that I have too! 🙂
I’m learnig to like plain too! I have to remove some of the fruit at the bottom of chobani because its too much now…used to need all the fruit I could get!
Haha – I hope I get to that point!!
